The Brief
This project formed part of a nationwide promotional campaign for the launch of the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The experience was designed as a touring pop-up installation located within UK shopping centres.
The objective was to create a short, accessible interactive puzzle game that audiences could complete quickly in order to unlock an exclusive trailer viewing. The format needed to appeal to a wide age range while supporting high visitor throughput.
Our Solution
We designed and built a fully self-contained immersive puzzle experience incorporating scenic theming, custom puzzles, electronic systems, and coded automation. Given the high-traffic retail environments, the installation was engineered to reset automatically between plays without staff intervention. Puzzle mechanics were intentionally simplified to ensure clarity across a mixed-age audience while maintaining engagement. The experience integrated seamlessly alongside parallel promotional set elements produced by other creative teams, requiring close coordination and careful design alignment.
