The Brief

Big House Events commissioned us to create a themed installation inspired by The Witches of Eastwick for use within their event programme. The piece needed to capture the recognisable atmosphere of the story while remaining practical for touring use.

Because the installation would appear at multiple locations, the brief focused on creating something visually distinctive but also transportable and robust. It needed to work in a variety of event environments, from indoor venues to temporary event spaces, while still delivering a clear sense of theme and spectacle.

The design also had to consider setup time and operational practicality. Event schedules are often tight, so the installation needed to assemble quickly, remain stable during public use, and pack down efficiently for transport to the next venue.

Our Solution

We designed and fabricated a themed scenic installation that translated the world of The Witches of Eastwick into a physical event environment. The focus was on creating a strong visual centrepiece that could immediately communicate the theme to guests.

The structure was built in modular sections so it could be transported between venues and assembled on site without complex tooling. This approach allowed the installation to remain visually substantial while still fitting within the logistical constraints of touring events.

Scenic finishes were applied to create a textured, atmospheric appearance suitable for themed events and photography. Materials were selected for durability so the installation could withstand repeated handling and public interaction across multiple appearances.

Throughout the build process we prioritised reliability and ease of use, ensuring the final piece could be set up, operated and dismantled efficiently by event teams.

The finished installation provides Big House Events with a themed scenic feature that can travel between venues while maintaining its visual impact. Its modular construction allows the team to install and remove the piece quickly, helping it fit smoothly into busy event schedules.

Because the structure is designed for repeated use, it supports multiple appearances across the event calendar without requiring significant maintenance. The result is a flexible scenic element that adds character and atmosphere to themed events while remaining practical for touring production.
